Abstract Submission

Authors are invited to submit an extended abstract written in English of 2 to 4 pages on A4-size paper. Please use this LaTeX template to prepare your abstract. Follow the instructions found there, and submit your LaTeX, figures and pdf files through the online submission system (see Steps for Abstract Submission below).

Note: For authors not familiar with LaTeX we propose LyX, a word processor similar to Microsoft Word compatible with LaTeX. If you choose to use LyX, please use the LyX template.

Extended abstract submission begins on October 4th, 2010 and ends on February 14th, 2011. Notification of acceptance will be done by February 28th, 2011.

Steps for Abstract Submission

  1. Prepare your manuscript using the LaTeX template or the LyX template. Please, strictly follow the formatting style of the template. The maximum length of the manuscript is 4 pages. Do not change margins or font size to reduce the number of pages.
  2. Create a ZIP archive with all the files required to compile your manuscript (e.g. bib files, figures, formulas, style files, etc.). The ZIP file will be uploaded through the Online Submission Tool.
  3. Prepare also a short abstract in plain text (maximum 600 characters, no figures, formulas or references) and up to four keywords and past it into the appropriate field in the submission tool.
  4. Register at the Online Submission Tool, fill in the required information and upload the ZIP file with your submission.

Questions about submission should be directed to alio.euro.2011.submissions@gmail.com.
