I am an associate professor at the Department of Computer Science of the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto (UP).

I do my research at LIAAD (Laboratory of AI and Decision Support), which is a research group belonging to INESC Tec, LA.

I am a member of the Portuguese AI Association (APPIA). I'm also a founding member of the Observatory of Fraud Economy and Managment (OBEGEF).

I have a degree in Systems and Informatics Engeneering from the University of Minho.

I have a PhD on Computer Science obtained at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto.
