Content ------- The Table contains 328 experimental deformation parameters beta2 derived from the model-independent experimental values of the reduced electric quadrupole transition probability B(E2). Assuming a uniform charge distribution out to the distance R and zero charge beyond, the model-dependent deformation parameter beta2 is related to B(E2) by (Eq.2 of Raman et al. 1987) beta2=(4pi/3ZR0^2) [B(E2)/e^2]^2 where R0=1.2 A^(1/3).
