CRACS | DCC | FCUP

I am Assistant Researcher at INESC TEC - CRACS and a guest Assistant Professor at the FCUP, at the University of Porto, in Portugal. I obtained the Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Porto in 2023, and the M.Sc. in Networks and Informatics Systems Engineering from the University of Porto in 2018.

My main research interests are in the areas of Network Science and Time Series Analysis. Specifically, I am interested in analyzing time series data using complex network analysis methodologies. My current lines of research are graph mining, time series mining, multilayer network analysis, feature extraction (from time series and graphs), clustering and classification problems, and also problems related to time series data privacy. In addition to these, I also have interests in the areas of algorithms and data structures, programming languages, data mining, and machine learning.

I am currently working on developing new methods for analyzing multivariate time series data through multilayer network structures as well as on their exploration and analysis. I am also supervising two master's theses within these areas.
