The Safe Cities project aims to respond and to anticipate the challenges facing modern urban societies, which are increasingly dependent on technological developments in the fields of sensing, data transmission, storage and intelligent remote processing to meet their security needs, privacy, comfort and efficiency.

PROJECT GOALS

Combining the knowledge and expertise of Bosch Ovar and the University of Porto, the main result of this project is an IoT ecosystem for safe cities, consisting of five complementary systems that allow creating multiple services through the same ecosystem, contributing in an innovative and relevant way to raise the security plateau of cities.
