DCFS 2012 will be held at Museu D. Diogo Sousa in Braga.
The D. Diogo de Sousa Museum was created in 1918 and is a public institution administered by the Institute of Museums and Conservation.
Since 2007 the he Museum is housed in a specially designed building in the center of what was the Roman City of Bracara Augusta.
Its collection mostly comprises items from excavations that took place in Braga with a vast chronological and cultural period, from the Paleolithic to the Middle Ages.

How to reach Braga

Airplane

You must land in Francisco Sá Carneiro airport (OPO), located at Porto. Then you can:
1. Take the Metro line Violet E (Airport-Estádio do Dragão) and stop-off at Campanhã (33 minutes). You must buy a Z4 ticket (~1.80 €). Take a train from the Campanhã train station to Braga. The train ticket should cost you about € 2. Please check the timetable to choose the schedule that best suits you. Then see Train Instructions.
2. Catch a bus shuttle from the airport to Braga by Get Bus. It will take 50 minutes and costs 7.5 € go (12 € go return). Make your reservation through the website. The sale of tickets inside the bus is bounded to availability. In the airport on arrivals you find the bus stop on platform 17/18 and on the Braga bus station on the platform 17/18 as well (see Bus instructions).
3. Rent a car and drive towards Museu D. Diogo Sousa (see Car instructions).


Train
After arriving at Braga's Train Station, the easiest way is to call a taxi and point the "Museu D. Diogo Sousa" to the driver, as your destination. You may have a look at the CP site for information about train schedules.
Otherwise you can have a foot walk towards Museu D. Diogo Sousa, in a 20 minutes walk following the directions in the map.

From Braga bus central station (Central de camionagem) you either can take a taxi or go by foot towards Museu D. Diogo de Sousa ( 20 minutes walk).

Car

If you plan to travel by car, you may be interested in the following points:
Satellite: The road in front of Museu D. Diogo Sousa has the following coordinates: Lat: 41 32'44.90" NLon: 8 25'39.87" W
From Porto: The fastest way is to take A3 (aprox. 40min) to Braga. You can also take A28 and then A11 (aprox. 50min) to Braga.
From Lisbon: The most common way is to take A1 to Porto, and follow the instructions given above (aprox. 3h30min). You can also take A17 and converge with A1 direction Porto, and then follow the instructions given above (aprox. 3h40min).
