Prospective students and researchers

 I currently have no open positions (PhD, postdoc or internship). In case you're interested in joining my group, there are regular open calls that can be explored, as follows.
PhD. Doctoral funding in my group usually comes through FCT studentship calls (typically closing in March) or funded research projects. These calls are highly competitive and weigh the academic record heavily. For FCT studentships, candidates with degrees from outside Portugal must obtain formal recognition of their degree, with conversion of the final grade to the Portuguese scale (see DGES), before the call deadline. This can take a few months.
Postdocs and internships. I can only consider postdoctoral or internship requests linked to an advertised position, an existing funding mechanism, or a planned fellowship application (e.g. MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships) with a concrete timeline and research plan in my areas.
